MY CHOICE-YOUR CHOICE This is a novel pocket trick. The effect is naughty but appealing. Not for performance everywhere, but at the proper time and place, it can be a hit with the correct audience. The performer shows five cards. There are pictures of four pretty girls printed on the faces of four cards, and the remaining card contains the picture of an ugly old lady. The performer states that he will select a girl without seeing the pictures, and one of the spectators also does likewise. Performer holds the cards face down in his hand and selects one card by eliminating other cards. He turns his card face up and it is a picture of an attractive young girl. Now he hands the cards over to a spectator. He holds the cards face down and follows the same elimination process to select a card. Before he turns his -selected card face up, the performer shows that he has already discarded the ugly old lady. No doubt the spectator also has selected a pretty girl. But when he turns the card face up, tile result is terrible! A picture of an uglier fat lady is seen on the card, which appears as if by magic!
