Hide and Seek Rabbit
Hide and Seek Rabbit - Four jumbo cards are displayed: two with magic hats, one with a cute rabbit, and one with a hat full of carrots. The hat with carrots is turned backside to the audience and is put aside yet remains in full view of the audience. One hat card is turned face down, the rabbit card is turned face down, and one hat card remains face up. The cards are now shuffled and the volunteer is asked to try to keep his eye on the rabbit card. He guesses and is wrong. The face up hat card is removed and the remaining two cards are now mixed. Volunteer is asked again to locate the rabbit card. Wrong again. Another hat card is removed leaving only one card to be “mixed”. Obviously the rabbit card. It is shuffled in a comic manner when finally turned face up to reveal it has turned into a hat card. The card with the carrots that was previously discarded is now turned around to show the rabbit now sitting in the upturned hat finishing off the last carrot!
